How does this finish differ from ordinary gloss lacquer?
Acrylic (PMMA) gives a deeper, more “glassy” gloss than standard lacquer and is harder. The biggest difference: fine scratches on acrylic can be polished out, on lacquer they cannot.
Can scratches really be removed?
Yes — with a polishing paste for plastics, similar to polishing car paint. Not every scratch will disappear 100%, but the effect is clearly better than with lacquer, where a scratch stays for good.
Is it a good choice for a kitchen with small children?
Honestly: not necessarily. High gloss requires frequent wiping (fingerprints are very visible), and with intensive, “children's” use it is worth considering a matt finish. It works excellently, however, in showcase kitchens open to the living room.
How do you care for it?
A microfibre cloth, lightly damp, then dry — so as not to leave water streaks. Avoid acetone, strong alcohol-based products and abrasive powders.
Roughly how much does a kitchen in this finish cost?
This is a higher price segment, close to gloss lacquer or slightly higher. You will learn the exact amount during the free 3D design.
Is the 3D design chargeable?
No — the 3D design is always free and non-binding. You will see exactly how your kitchen will look before you pay anything.
